Each year, the Office for Equity & Diversity hosts the Equity & Diversity Breakfast recognizes the students, staff, and faculty that exemplify the University's commitment to equity and diversity. This year, we recognized the outstanding students that received the Scholarly Excellence in Equity and Diversity (SEED) Awards, as well as the winners of the Outstanding Unit Award for Equity and Diversity, the Josie R. Johnson Human Rights and Social Justice Award, and the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Award.Learn more about the recipients below.

JEDI Award
The Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Award honors faculty who have done significant research, teaching or service/leadership to advance justice, equity, diversity and inclusion at the University, in the person's field of study, or in our broader community. These awards are meant to advance and elevate equity work; provide funding in recognition of the value of that work; and showcase critical scholarship, pedagogy, and community engagement.
