Ewan McGregor joined by his children aged 3 to 28 as he gets Hollywood Walk of Fame star

Ewan McGregor was supported by four of his children as well as his wife Mary Elizabeth Winstead as he was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Star Wars actor was all smiles as he posed with daughters Clara, 28, Jamyan, 22, and Anouk, 13, from his marriage to ex-wife Eve Mavrakis, as well as son Laurie, three, who he welcomed with Mary in July 2021.
Ewan and Eve also share daughter Esther, 22, who was missing from the star-studded event due to work commitments.
The family all posed with their hands on the new Walk of Fame addition with the Trainspotting star giving a shoutout to his family for their support in a touching speech.
‘I was very lucky to work with my daughter Clara, here, on a movie called Bleeding Love. Had a better title before but some less creative people changed it,” he said, according to People.
‘What a privilege, I got to play Clara’s dad and be Clara’s dad at the same time.’

The Moulin Rouge actor recalled how the experience left him inspired and ‘wanting more of it myself.’
‘I was on set and I was re-inspired by watching her passion and enthusiasm for this thing we do, and the young cast that were around her,’ he continued. ‘And I came away feeling filled up by it and wanting more of it myself.’
He went on to describe Anouk as an ‘amazing human being’ while predicting ‘beautiful’ Jamyan is destined to become ‘a homicide detective’
Ewan went on to speak about his son Laurie, coaxing him to say hello to the crowd gathered to watch the ceremony.
The actor also packed on the PDA with Mary, sharing a kiss and wrapping their arms around each other for photographs.
The couple tied the knot in 2022 after meeting in 2016 when they worked together on Fargo.

They began dating in 2017, which caused controversy as when they met, Ewan was still married to Eva while Mary was married to ex-husband Riley Stearns.
After Ewan and Mary were spotted on a date in October 2017, Ewan was forced to share that he and Eva had been separated since May.
In 2018, tensions flared when Ewan’s daughter Clara branded Mary ‘a piece of trash’ on an Instagram post.
She later admitted she regretted the comments, telling The Times: ‘‘There had been a lot building up to it and a lot to deal with, not to make excuses or anything, but, yeah, it wasn’t my finest moment. But I’m not afraid to speak out if I feel strongly about something.
‘I said how I felt and I didn’t want to apologise for it. It wasn’t the right way to go about things, but it’s a hard thing to wrap your head around when you feel you had this idea of what the family unit is and then to have that shift. It’s very weird.’
