Duncan Robinson: 'I feel like my prime is still ahead of me'

Robinson is still learning and improving. Even after this season’s revival, he still feels like his best basketball is ahead of him. “I just turned 30, which is crazy,” said Robinson, who has two seasons left on his current contract with the Heat. “But what might even be crazier is I still think I’m far from a finished product. Maybe a lot of people say that 28 to whatever is your prime, but I feel like my prime is still ahead of me.”Source: Miami Herald

More on this storyline

Brady Hawk: Duncan Robinson jokes when asked if he felt he was “20% of his usual self” in Boston series: “From what you saw, you thought it was 20%?” Then adds: “Certainly don’t have any regrets. Would’ve had more regrets if it was the other way if I didn’t play.” Says rest is the cure -via Twitter @BradyHawk305 / May 3, 2024

Barry Jackson: Duncan Robinson said nobody thinks his back issue will “linger or last.” He said there were a lot of theories of how he should handle his back injury but he decided to play through it late in season, playoffs. He said he would have regretted if he hadn’t tried, though he obviously wasn’t fully himself. -via Twitter @flasportsbuzz / May 3, 2024

Brady Hawk: When Spo was asked about Duncan’s limited minutes with the back, says: “He won’t make an excuse. I won’t make an excuse for him.” “We have enough to get the job done.” -via Twitter @BradyHawk305 / April 27, 2024
