The upcoming Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red Moon Pact will premiere on May 23, 2024. It is the first drama of the much-anticipated Fox Spirit Matchmaker trilogy to come out. It features famous actors Yang Mi and Gong Jun in the leading roles. The drama follows the story of Tushan Hong Hong (Yang Mi), a fox spirit of the powerful Tushan fox clan. She falls for Dongfang Yue Chu (Gong Jun), a human. She saves his life after his lifelong enemy attacks him and leaves him to die. Tushan Hong Hong uses her supernatural powers to heal her lover. Their love defies all the laws of nature.

The two form an army with their patrons to fight and dispel evil forces who continue to try to harm them. They also embark on a journey to establish unanimity between their sects. Tushan Hong Hong and Dongfang Yue Chu hope to erase the taboo that humans and demons can’t fall in love and wish to build a new world devoid of deadly diseases where they can coexist in harmony.
Even though their love story is frowned upon, Dongfang finds peace in Tushan’s company, and he considers her to be the most sincere being in the world. Tushan vows to protect the “Six Desires.” Will their love find a fulfilling ending?
Other than the lead actors, Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red Moon Pact will also feature Cristy Guo, Wei Zhe Ming, Hu Lian Xin, and Wen Zheng Rong in the main roles. Furthermore, Li Yu Hao, Jerry Huang, Dai Si, Lawrence Wang, Fan Ming, Liang Chao, Hong Xiao, Feng Xiao Tong, Wang Zi Rui, Chen Tao, and Li Xi Meng will appear in the drama in pivotal roles.Mai Guan Zhi and Du Lin are the directors of the drama.
Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red Moon Pact will release 38 episodes, which will be available to stream on iQIYI.
