What Does The Season Thirteen Preview Show?
Only a few hours after the network confirmed the renewal of the series for Season 13, they released a Preview Video hinting at a season filled with love.
The video opens with Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) speaking on the radio, stating, “There’s no limit when we inspire one another.” Following this, a voiceover declares, “When Calls The Heart will be back with an exciting new season-stay tuned for its return next year.”
Next, there are images of several couples; Lee and Rosemary Coulter (Kavan Smith, Pascale Hutton), Mei and Mike Hickam (Amanda Wong, Ben Rosenbaum), and Joseph and Minnie Canfield (Viv Leacock, Natasha Burnett).
Then, Allie Grant (Jaeda Lily Miller) and Oliver Garrett (Jacob Shoemay), Elizabeth and Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry), Bill Avery (Jack Wagner), and Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) and Edie Martell (Miranda MacDougall).
Lots Of Love Stories Coming
Next season promises to be filled with numerous love stories, as many of these relationships have been thriving for at least two seasons. Meanwhile, Lucas and Edie are embarking on a new romance, and Oliver and Allie are friends whose bond might evolve into something more.
However, a potential challenge for Oliver and Allie arises from Allie’s decision to accompany her father to Cape Fullerton, where they will be joining Elizabeth and Little Jack Thornton (Hyland Goodrich) for an extended stay.
Will this distance keep the young couple apart for a significant time? Additionally, with Edie appearing in the video, it seems that she and Lucas will be exploring their romantic connection next season.
Melissa Gilbert And Jack Wagner Want To Explore A Bill And Georgie Romance
The WCTH Video Preview highlighted various characters, but notably, Jack Wagner’s Bill Avery appears solo; this raises the question: where is Georgie McGill, played by Melissa Gilbert?
This season featured a significant romance between Bill and Georgie, and Melissa has expressed her desire to return to the Hallmark series. Although the preview doesn’t reveal this, there’s a possibility that their romance could carry over into Season 13.
Jack Wagner has been advocating for Season 13 to give his character a genuine romantic storyline. Let’s hope that comes to fruition, but the network will need to secure Melissa for additional episodes.
When Is The Season Thirteen Premiere?
When is the new season set to premiere? Currently, the video has announced that the new season is expected to return in 2026, but filming has yet to commence. Historically, production has taken place from July to November.
