A recent episode of Wheel of Fortune added a twist to the game’s three contestants. This became highlighted after the show when the three were interviewed by Maggie Sajak herself. Fans also shared how much they appreciated the episode.
Maggie Sajak Discussed ‘Quite A Game’ On Wheel Of Fortune
After the end of one recent episode of Wheel of Fortune, Maggie Sajak interviewed three recent contestants. These were Sam Oh, Peter Jung, and Daniel Park.
During their game, Sam made it onto the Bonus Round. However, he was unable to solve the puzzle, “Out of Whack,” in time. Despite this, Sam still won around $30,000 and a trip.

What made things different was that the three contestants knew each other in real life, as friends and contestants. The three even planned to split a $1 million wedge if they won it.
Maggie shared, “What a game for all of you. Everyone came home with some money, which we love to see. But Sam, quite a game for you. The predictions came true. You did do very well. How do you feel?
Sam replied, “I feel really lucky. But more than anything, I just really enjoyed being able to do this with them. And to have this experience together, as close friends, was something I’ll never forget.”
Maggie then segued, “Oh, well, it’s true, you’re not really a sore winner. But how do we feel over here?” She continued, “Do we feel the same or no?”
Sam’s friend, Daniel, shared, “Overall, we are just happy for Sam. To see him do so well. And I know that it’s going to be a blessing to his family. But, also, we’re super thankful to Wheel of Fortune for being an amazing host.”
Sam’s friend Daniel then shared, “I’m not gonna lie, I’m a little salty. Not at Sam. No. Mostly at the wheel. It kept giving me ‘Bankrupts.’ But, you know, it is what it is. We had a great time.”
The Three Contestants Also Made An Impression With Their Wardrobe
Maggie then asked about a certain “wardrobe change” on the show. As the caption noted, “Might be the first time we’ve seen ‘Wheel of Misfortune’ shirts on the show…”
Maggie herself shared, This is pretty cool. I want one of this. Peter explained, “My wife actually made this T-shirt. We agreed a couple weeks back that the two losers would have to wear this shirt. I was hoping not to be one of them. But here I am.”
Peter continued, “And what’s kind of funny is that there’s a ‘Lose A Job’ wedge piece right there. And I happen to be their bosses. So. I think I’m safe.” He then joked, “I don’t know about Sam.”
Taking to social media, fans loved the idea of friends being on the show together. A few noted it really made the episode. Some comments included:
