As summer heats up, DE Corey Adams Jr. moving closer toward a decision
Ahead of his senior season at Louisiana powerhouse Edna Karr High School, Corey Adams Jr. has plenty to consider.Adams, a 6-foot-4, 240-pound force off the edge, has been heavily pursued by schools in and around the South for two-plus years. Schools like Mississippi State, LSU, TCU and Georgia Tech have been mainstays in his recruitment leading into the summer, and the three-star trenchman may not be too far off from a decision.Adams is scheduled to get to Georgia Tech for an official visit on June 7-9. He'll get back to Mississippi State on June 14-16, a campus he frequented early on as an underclassman that's recently turned up the heat again this spring. Adams will cap the month of June with a trip to TCU on June 21-23."These visits are definitely important because I want to be committed before the summer is over with," Adams told Rivals. "I'll get back to these schools and see what they have to offer. I know everything about them, I just have to make the decision and scratch it off the list. I'm trying to make a decision as soon as possible, so once I get to these schools I'm in."
