Blue Chips: More additions to Michigan’s BBQ at The Big House list

*** Fast-rising 2026 Roanoke (Va.) North Cross cornerback Jaziel Hart will be making his first visit to Michigan for the BBQ at The Big House next weekend. Hart just notched an offer from the Wolverines last month after new secondary coach LaMar Morgan spend a ton of time evaluating underclassmen film. While Hart is not ranked, he has been gaining plenty of traction on the recruiting trail, notching offers from Maryland, North Carolina, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee and others. At 6-foot, 170 pounds, Hart is one of the more intriguing recruits in a loaded state of Virginia in the 2026 recruiting cycle.
*** New Michigan tight ends coach Steve Casula hosted several top 2026 targets in the spring as well as last month, so the BBQ at The Big House will feature a smaller list at the position. However, I am told that three-star Detroit (Mich.) Catholic Central tight end Jack Janda will be back on campus for yet another visit. The in-state prospect visited twice last month, and Michigan has the early lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Casula has given himself a ton of options in a strong year at tight end next cycle. If he goes all in for Janda, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him end up in the class.
*** Four-star 2026 Mansfield (Texas) Lake Ridge offensive tackle Felix Ojo will be making his first visit for the BBQ at The Big House. Ojo does not have a Michigan offer just yet, but I would expect that to change during his stay in Ann Arbor. At 6-foot-7, 275 pounds, Ojo is a true, towering tackle, which is exactly what the Wolverines need next cycle. Ojo holds offers from souther schools like Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M. However, the fact that he’s making a visit on his own dime without an offer speaks volumes about his interest in U-M.
*** Ojo isn’t the only highly regarded 2026 offensive lineman coming to Michigan without an offer. Three-star Naples (Fla.) Community guard/center George Haseotes will also be in Ann Arbor for his first visit. While Haseotes isn’t ranked high early on, he does have an impressive offer sheet with schools like Florida, Georgia, Miami, Notre Dame and Texas A&M leading the way. Notre Dame is considered the early favorite here, so Haseotes is definitely willing to leave the Southeast, and obviously, Michigan has had plenty of success recruiting in Florida as of late.
