First Look At New 'Bluey' Coming to Disney+ in October

A brand-new set of minisodes is heading your way this fall!And there's even more exciting news. We're getting a sneak peek at one of the episodes called, "Blocks."
All About the Second Set of 'Bluey Minisodes'Disney has announced the next seven Bluey Minisodes will start streaming on Disney+ on Monday, October 7. They will then start running on Disney Jr. and Disney Channel throughout that week. This follows a similar pattern to the first seven minisodes that started running on July 3, 2024.According to Disney, the stories we will see involve playful interactions and games that "further explore the characters and world of Bluey." Keep in mind, these episodes are truly "mini" with a run time of one to three minutes.Here's what we know so far about the seven episodes:● “Tattoo Shop:” In this first episode, Dad goes to the imaginary tattoo shop where the kids are going to give him a tattoo. He asks them for skulls and snakes, but that's not exactly what he ends up with.● “Phoney:” After an exciting day, the Bluey characters just want to relax and listen to music. That is except for Unicorse who keeps asking "Phoney" to change the song.● “Blocks:” As you can see from the clip above, Bluey and Bingo build a huge tower. But when it's time to leave, the kids ask Nana to keep their tower intact until they return. But Nana and Bob find it hard to keep that promise.● “Government:” In this episode, Dad is pretending to use Bingo's back as a typewriter. He's writing a letter to the government asking them to do something about his misbehaving kids.● “Drums:” Mum and Bingo head to the music shop in this episode. That's when Bingo finds an electric drum kit and some headphones.● “Browny Bear:” Mum enlists PI Browny Bear to investigate who keeps tapping people on the shoulder and then vanishing. They're trying to get to the bottom of it since they find it very annoying.● “Whirlpool:” It's fun with water in this episode when the kids make a whirlpool in the paddling pool. They then jump into it to play in the current.

Even More 'Bluey Minisodes' to ComeDon't worry—these aren't the last of the Bluey Minisodes. There is a third and final batch that will be released at a later date, potentially in 2025. There will be about 20 minisodes in total.Bluey is more popular than ever. Disney cites Neilsen Media Research in touting Bluey as the number one most-watched series on streaming in 2024. Viewers have watched more than 35 billion minutes of the series.'The Sign' and 'Surprise' Left Fans Wanting MoreEarlier in 2024, we were all wondering whether the beloved children's series was coming to an end after the super-sized 28-minute episode of Bluey called "The Sign." Then one week later, producers very sneakily announced another standard-length episode aptly named "Surprise."Those two combined left Bluey fans wanting even more. "The Sign" was about Bluey dealing with a potentially huge change in her life as Bandit and Chilli put their house up for sale. The Heelers eventually stayed put, much to the relief of fans.Then came "Surprise" which left fans with a major cliffhanger at the end.The episode begins with Chilli talking with Bluey and Bingo about what it's like to have children. It's a moment so many parents could identify with. But the end is where they get you. There's a flash-forward where we see an older version of Chilli in their home. The doorbell rings and it's Bluey as an adult, and Bluey is now a parent herself!Fan theories have been going wild with speculation about who the father of Bluey's child is. Some even speculate that it's Mackenzie, the black and white border collie who becomes good friends with Bluey after moving to Brisbane.Fans got a little extra bit of Bluey when an episode never before seen in America started streaming on the Bluey YouTube channel. The episode called "Dad Baby" is from season two and focuses on childbirth.It's not clear at this point if these Bluey Minisodes are the last—or if there will be another full season coming. But either way, they will give fans exactly what they want—more new Bluey!
