The American legend unequivocally stated, “I’m so devastated for her.” The veteran also included, “I hope that things change and she gets to keep her medal because it’s not right. It’s so disappointing to me because I feel like it goes against the integrity of the sport and of the Olympics.” Her standing motivated Jordan after all the experiences she had to go through with the controversies that happened on August 10. The former world champion Svetlana Boginskaya has recently argued over Chiles’ decision to keep the Olympic medal despite being stripped of her rank in the floor exercise final of the Paris Olympics. The three-time Olympic champion said, “Jordan Chiles should keep her medal that she got awarded officially.”
