Tornado Watch Issued For All Of NH
NEW HAMPSHIRE — New Hampshire is under a tornado watch until 8 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.The entire state falls under the watch, along with part or all of Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts and New York.“A corridor of locally greater severe risk remains apparent across portions of southern Maine, VT, NH and west-central Massachusetts,” according to the service’s Storm Prediction Center. “With the potential for a mix of supercells and line segments, the risk for tornadoes will exist.”The weather service warned of a few tornadoes, possible ping-pong ball-sized hail and wind gusts up to 70 mph.In Concord, showers and thunderstorms, potentially severe, are in the forecast for the late afternoon and evening, with showers possible into Monday.The article Tornado Watch Issued For All Of NH appeared first on Across New Hampshire, NH Patch.
