Drew McIntyre Back on WWE Raw After Attacking CM Punk

Former WWE champion Drew McIntyre is returning to Raw this week after his attack on former AEW star CM Punk. Last week, McIntyre shocked fans by announcing he was quitting WWE, but he made a surprising appearance on SmackDown last Friday.
However, Drew McIntyre’s return wasn’t just an appearance – it was an attack. CM Punk, who was announced for the show, shared a segment with Paul Heyman and The Bloodline. Things escalated when The Bloodline threatened Punk, prompting Cody Rhodes to come to his aid.
Later, during a backstage segment with Grayson Waller and DIY, Drew McIntyre emerged, standing over a battered and bleeding CM Punk. He carried Punk onto his shoulder and carried him to the entrance ramp. There, McIntyre mocked Punk, taking a knee beside him and pulling a bracelet off his wrist before standing tall.
Officials, including SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, intervened. As McIntyre left, Punk was loaded onto a stretcher and taken away in an ambulance. Later on the show, Braxton provided an update on CM Punk’s condition. She also revealed that Drew McIntyre told her he would be coming on Monday Night Raw.

Fans are buzzing to see what former WWE champion Drew McIntyre will say after his attack on CM Punk. For months, CM Punk has thwarted McIntyre’s chances of winning the world title. With McIntyre finally getting his hands on Punk and announcing his appearance on the upcoming edition of WWE Raw, fans can expect him to call out Punk for a match. However, Punk is still recovering from a triceps injury and hasn’t been medically cleared yet. Recent reports suggest he might be cleared by the end of July. Since WWE’s SummerSlam takes place on August 3 in Cleveland, Ohio, fans can anticipate McIntyre challenging Punk to a match at ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer.’
