Glamorous Georgia sorority girl was arrested with a college football player

By ALEX RASKIN
There's a college football twist in the story of the Georgia sorority girl who went viral over her glamorous mugshots.
University of Georgia student Lily Stewart, 20, was arrested for the second time in less than a month on Sunday when, according to a police report obtained by DailyMail.com, she and a group of friends set off an intrusion alarm at a campus student center.
Now police at the Athens, Georgia campus say they also caught a college football player fleeing the scene – and not one of the Bulldogs.
Rather, 20-year-old Harvard Crimson tight end Seamus Gilmartin was among a group of college-age suspects who allegedly attempted to enter the Tate Student Center in the early hours of Sunday morning. The facility's listed hours are from 8am until midnight.
Stewart was charged with obstruction of a law enforcement officer and loitering/prowling, while Gilmartin was charged with underage alcohol possession and possession of fake IDs after allegedly being caught with phony licenses from New York and California. Gilmartin is now banned from the UGA campus for two years, according to multiple reports.
Stewart and Gilmartin, as well as the other members of the group, were bonded out of jail.

DailyMail.com has reached out to a Harvard football spokesman for comment.
Both Harvard and Gilmartin had successful seasons in 2024. Despite losses to rivals Brown and Yale, the Crimson nearly won the Ivy League title at 5-2 in conference with an 8-2 overall record.
Gilmartin earned Second Team All-Ivy honors after playing in his first season of real game action while finishing with 18 catches for 379 yards. The Hillsborough, California native was particularly strong in the red zone, catching four touchdowns on the season.
His curious connection to Stewart remains unclear after her turbulent month down in Athens.

On Sunday, Stewart allegedly sprinted away from the responding UGA police officers and crouched behind a brick wall to hide as a cop questioned her peers. However, her hiding spot was quickly discovered and when cops asked why she ran away, she said she was scared of getting into trouble since she was already arrested on March 8.

Stewart first went viral last week when people started to gush over her March 8 mugshot. The sorority girl was arrested for speeding after already being pulled over
'I didn't want to get caught doing anything bad because I am out on bond right now,' the internet sensation admitted, according to the report
Stewart also said to police during the early Sunday morning encounter: 'Was it the trespassing? Truly that was actually my fault.'
She first went viral over her March 8 mugshot. At first, she was simply pulled over and issued a ticket. But when she sped off immediately after speaking with the officer, she was flagged down again and arrested.
Stewart's attorney told TMZ that the speeding charge has been dropped. She has to take a defensive driving course, complete 20 hours of community service and write a paper about the dangers of speeding.
