GALLERY: A two-horse race for first place at Knockout Round’s second day
ERIE, Pa. – It was a two-horse race for first place and the bragging rights that come with it during the final stretch of the second day of the Knockout Round at B&W Trailer Hitches Challenge Cup Presented by Toyota, the first event of the fall edition of the 2024 General Tire Team Series Presented by Bass Pro Shops.
With more than 70 pounds separating the top two tandems from the elimination line in Period 3, Matt Becker and Spencer Shuffield of Team B&W Trailer Hitches and Luke Clausen and John Hunter of Team Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff & Pouches kept boating bass by the bunches as they jockeyed to take first place.
Meanwhile, Drew Gill and Matt Stefan of Team Coign exhibited some exceptional sportsmanship with a positive attitude about the situation.
