Looking for love? Netflix's hit reality show "Love Is Blind" is casting in the Boston and New England area for an upcoming season.
"Love Is Blind" is looking for single people in the Boston and New England area interested in finding the love of their life.
Donna Driscoll, the executive vice president of casting at Kinetic Content Casting, said the show is looking for open and authentic New Englanders.
"There's a level of authenticity and genuine character that I've seen in the time we've spent on the East Coast that makes me very excited because that is probably one of the key elements to success on 'Love Is Blind,'" Driscoll said.
Where is 'Love is Blind' casting?
'Love is Blind' is currently casting for a potential upcoming season in several areas including New England, Columbus, Ohio, Atlanta, Georgia and Miami, Florida, the show's casting company, Kinetic Content Casting, posted on Instagram Monday.

Who should apply for 'Love Is Blind'?

Driscoll said "Love Is Blind" casting is looking for people who are "single, fun-loving, but most of all, marriage-minded."
"At the end of this, there is marriage involved so we do want people who are looking to settle down and find the love of their life," Driscoll said.
How to apply to be on 'Love Is Blind'
People who are interested in being on "Love Is Blind" can apply through the online application at libcasting.com.
The online application is the first step in the process and will ask participants about their lives, like their dating history, relationship deal breakers and what characteristics they are looking for in a partner.
The entire application process includes multiple interviews with casting before candidates are chosen.
Kinetic Content Casting will be holding a virtual open casting call via Zoom, Driscoll said. The details will be available on the company's Instagram page in the coming weeks.
What is 'Love Is Blind'?
"Love Is Blind" is a reality show that explores whether a romantic love can form without knowing what the person you're dating looks like.
In it, 15 single men and 15 single women from the same region date without seeing each other over the course of 10 days.
The couples get to know each other inside a "pod", a room separated into two sections so participants can hear but not see each other. They can only meet each other face to face if they choose to get engaged.
The show follows the couples from when they are inside the pods to when they walk down the aisle and beyond as they navigate life together.
