Jayson Tatum Adds To Hall Of Fame-Worthy Résumé With Gold Medal

&&&&&&&&&&&&

Jayson Tatum is one of the most decorated players in basketball history, and he's only 26 years old.
The Boston Celtics star didn't get consistent minutes with Team USA, but he still won his second Olympic gold medal after the Americans beat France at the Paris Olympics. Tatum joined LeBron James and Michael Jordan as one of three players to win an Olympic gold medal, an NBA champion and be named First-Team All-NBA in the same year.
Tatum didn't rule out another run at the Olympics when asked about the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles, and Boston is poised to be a title contender for the next decade as long as he and Jaylen Brown remain the team's core.

On the latest "Hold My Banner" podcast, NESN's Travis Thomas and Ountae Campbell reviewed Tatum's seven-year career. The star forward is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, an NBA champion, a five-time All-Star and a four-time All-NBA player (three First-Team selections). He also has the most playoff points in NBA history before turning 27. It's an impressive résumé that Thomas and Campbell agreed has Tatum on track to potentially be voted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
Hear more from Thomas and Campbell's discussion about the United States men's and women's national teams winning gold in the video and podcast embeds.
