Patrick Mahomes’ exclusion from the Madden NFL 26 99 Club rating did not sit well with his fans, who have expressed frustration online. “The disrespect for Patrick Mahomes is at an all-time high,” a fan wrote on X ( formerly Twitter). “Mahomes being left off feels like a slight,” another shared.
Meanwhile, online gambling company BetOnline suggested that Mahomes wouldn’t take news of his exclusion very well. They wrote, “Mahomes ain’t gonna like this.”
Although Mahomes did not make it into the 99 Club, he has been recognized in other lists. CBS Sports has not only listed him as one of the Top 100 Players of 2025 — but has also named him as one of the Top 10 — specifically mentioning him as #1. Additionally, an ESPN survey conducted with executives, coaches, and scouts saw Mahomes ranked at No. 1.
Patrick Mahomes previously made it into the Madden NFL 25 99 Club. Tyreek Hill, Christian McCaffrey, Trent Williams, and Travis Kelce were the other players who were a part of the roster.
