According to her LinkedIn profile, Sayler Shakir works for Orangetheory Fitness. Before this, she worked as a teaching assistant at Bloom Early Learning Center. Sayler was also previously an internship coach at Girls on the Run International. An alumna of Boise State University, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science in 2022.
Sayler has priorly also worked as a server in the hospitality industry, at popular outlets like BACON Boise and Clementines Restaurant and Bar. Additionally, she has worked as a Banquet Server at Wedgewood Wedding & Banquet Centers.
Khalil and Sayler Shakir’s relationship history
Khalil Shakir and his wife Sayler first crossed paths at Boise State University. The two of them had something in common — being athletes, which likely contributed to their bond. However, the two played on different teams, as Sayler was affiliated with the soccer team, while Khalil played for the football team.
The couple made their social media debut in February 2021, with Sayler sharing an Instagram post about Khalil. A month later, the NFL star followed suit and uploaded an Instagram post featuring them, captioned, “It’s Us.”
Khalil Shakir and Sayler got engaged sometime in March 2022. Their engagement was only confirmed a month later when he shared a series of photos, in which she could be seen wearing a ring. They tied the knot one year later at the Ruby Hill Winery in Northern California.
