Khloe Kardashian’s scorned ex and baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, has received a stern warning from a judge. He has not been the most favorable person after all of his cheating scandals, but what was he slapped on the wrist for? Keep reading for further details.

For years, Khloe Kardashian has been mixed up with Tristan Thompson. He seemed to give her all that she wanted, including her first child. Unfortunately, he was unfaithful, and she let him go. Yet, she allowed him to be there for the birth of their daughter, True. They took some time apart and then reconciled, planning a second child. So, they created an embryo and recruited a surrogate, but right after the implantation, it came out that Tristan had cheated again. Not only did he cheat, but he fathered another baby. This further destroyed Khloe as she went through this process virtually alone.

No one wanted Tristan and Khloe back together, although there have been some suspicions that they reconciled. Now, Tristan is in hot legal water after a judge issued him a stern warning. It was not about his children but rather his brother, Amari. Tristan became Amari’s guardian after their mother passed in 2023, and the KarJenner family has been immensely supportive. Amari has Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, so he requires around-the-clock care. There was a guardianship hearing on April 22nd, but Tristan was not present and seemingly missed his appearance.
The judge maintained that Tristan Thompson and his lawyer knew far enough in advance that there was no reason for the no-show. Furthermore, Tristan has failed to file the accounting for Amari. A new hearing is set for June 12th, and Tristan better comply. He has long maintained that their father was absent, so after Andrea passed, it was on Tristan to take over. Khloe Kardashian has been seen smiling and posing with him at parties and events, helping him the best way possible.
Fixing The Situation
It is unclear if Tristan Thompson has taken this warning seriously or not. His brother has a lot of hurdles to overcome, as he was a Canadian citizen, and much of his care was done there. Tristan noted that he may be required to travel back and forth for certain treatments. The process of making him a citizen was in process, but not an easy one, per Tristan’s lawyer:
“The process to apply for American citizenship is slow and Amari will require care for duration of his life, [Tristan] would like to get started on this as soon as possible in order for Amari to begin to qualify for any social services benefits he would be entitled to as an American citizen.”
Khloe Kardashian sang Amari’s praises in 2024 when he turned eighteen. It was a big moment for the teenager and deserved a proper celebration, which fans loved to see. They knew Khloe’s heart was pure and big:
