Chattanooga State Community College Lockdown Lifted, No Shooting On Campus
Chattanooga State Community College announced shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2024, that the campus was deemed safe following a lockdown earlier that morning. A serious threat led to the formal lifting of the lockdown later in the day. Everyone was advised by the college to stay indoors until the lockdown was completely removed.
