Stassi Schroeder Opens Up About Her ‘Mom Style’ Makeover
Stassi Schroeder became a household name for reality TV fans in 2013. She was among the original SURvers on Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules. The blonde beauty queen quickly became a fan favorite and was clearly also SUR owner Lisa Vanderpump’s favorite as well.
But not even Lisa Vanderpump could save Stassi from fan backlash in 2020 after another VPR cast member accused her of racism. According to Faith Stowers, Stassi and then-bestie Kristen Doute called the cops on her in retaliation for sleeping with Jax Taylor while he was dating Brittany Cartwright.

At the time, the country was going through a racial reckoning. Calling the police on a Black woman, especially an innocent one, led to outcry from viewers of the reality show. Bravo initially tried to let the incident blow over. When it didn’t, Stassi and Kirsten were fired, along with two other cast members accused in a separate incident of racist behavior.
Since leaving Vanderpump Rules, Stassi Schroeder got married to Beau Clark and had two children, a daughter named Hartford and a son named Messer. She recently spoke to Nylon magazine about how her style has changed since having kids. The former Bravo star admitted that as much as she hates the term “mom style,” it is an accurate description of her clothing choices these days.
“I don’t want to say mom style — that sounds so lame and obvious. You have to wear things out of necessity sometimes, but you still want to look and feel amazing,” Stassi said. She added that her style has “definitely changed over the years since giving birth twice.”
She’s been posting her OOTD (Outfit of the Day) on social media for years. She even paid to turn it into a national holiday in 2018. June 30th is National OOTD Day.
What We Know About Her Upcoming Hulu Show
Several Vanderpump Rules stars – including Kristen Doute – returned to Bravo in a new show called The Valley. The network is also rebooting VPR with an all-new cast. But Stassi Schroeder isn’t on either of those shows.
She recently made her long-awaited return to reality TV alongside her former mentor and boss, Lisa Vanderpump. Stassi joined Season 2 of Vanderpump Villa, which airs on Hulu.
Stassi Schroeder will also star in her own show on the streaming service. Stassi Says is a 30-minute docu-comedy series coming to the streamer soon. Not much has been revealed about the reality show, but Stassi told Nylon that it was a passion project she’s been working on since before she was pregnant with her son.

While Stassi Schroeder only recently returned to reality TV, she never left social media, even at the height of the scandal surrounding Bravo firing her. She continues to post her outfits of the day. But one recent OOTD caused concern among fans.
One worried fan took to social media to ask if anyone else thought the Vanderpump Villa star looked too skinny and “unhealthy.”

Whether other fans agreed or not, they didn’t think it was their place to body shame. When person replied, “Y’all it is 2025, do we not have better things to worry about than commenting on other peoples bodies?”
Another added, “The media has been pushy this skinny on us again.”
