New Mexico police are investigating the deaths of longtime Hollywood actor Gene Hackman, his wife Betsy Arakawa, and their dog. According to the Associated Press, deputies discovered the family’s deceased bodies during a wellness check on February 27. Hackman was 95 years old, and Betsy was 63.As mentioned, Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office deputies realized that the family had perished while checking in on Wednesday at about 1:45 p.m. local time. Officials have yet to reveal what caused the triple death, but according to AP, they do not suspect foul play.It’s unclear who called in the wellness check, but the couple seemingly died inside their residence, though it’s not known where.
