2025 LB Jaiden Braker ‘Would Love’ to Visit Kentucky as a Decision Nears
Jaiden Braker is getting close to making his college decision. Kentucky is starting to get involved at just the right time.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound linebacker from South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA) told KSR+ that he’s looking to commit somewhere around the beginning or middle of June. With official visits coming up, Braker hopes to take one to Kentucky.
“I would love to,” he said. “I just have to get it figured out with the coach.”
Braker received an offer from Kentucky in mid-May when UK defensive coordinator Brad White came to visit his school. He described his reaction as “happy.”
“[Coach Brad White] had a conversation with me to describe how he likes his linebackers,” Braker said. “He described all the attributes of the people he likes to recruit and ended up offering me.”
Braker said he doesn’t know “too much” about Kentucky’s program. However, the SEC pedigree appeals to him.
“I feel like I’d fit in well at the outside linebacker or middle linebacker spot,” he said. “It doesn’t really matter. They could put me wherever and I could fit into the scheme pretty well.”
As for the exact date of the visit, Braker is expecting the staff to contact his father. From there, they’ll get a date set.
His Wider Recruitment
With a commitment nearing, Jaiden Braker has his fair share of schools to choose from. He’s hearing from the likes of South Carolina, Kentucky, Rutgers, Indiana, USF, NC State, Georgia Tech, and “a lot more.”
“It’s been good,” Braker said. “I was recruited later, so I thought I wasn’t going to get as many offers as I have or as big of offers as I’ve gotten. I proved myself wrong.”
Braker already has official visits planned to South Carolina, Rutgers, Utah, NC State, and BYU for the summer. He’s previously visited South Carolina for a spring practice.
“[I’m looking at] community, education, and how I’d be developed on and off the field,” Braker said when asked about the deciding factors for a decision.
Jaiden Braker’s Game
2025 linebacker Jaiden Braker of Snellville (GA) South Gwinnett is not ranked by On3 or the On3 Industry Ranking. He is rated by 247Sports as a three-star recruit.
Braker considers his athletic ability to be his greatest strength. Moving forward, he’s focused on improving his left-arm tackling.
“I’m really interested in [visiting Kentucky] and I’m really interested in the school,” Braker said.
