Still, a few of them had median pay above the median for all occupations, which was $48,060.While word processors and typists could see employment drop the quickest among occupations, cashiers could see the largest employment drop from 2023 to 2033. BLS found this job is projected to see employment drop by 353,100, or a 10.6% decline.Customer service representatives and general office clerks were the only two other jobs with employment projected to fall by more than 100,000."The growth of e-commerce as well as advances in technology are expected to limit demand for sales workers leading to employment declines," a news release from the Bureau of Labor Statistics said on Thursday.
