The Main Fantastic Four Cast Hits the Blue Carpet
Fans finally got to see the new Fantastic Four: First Steps cast assembled in one place, with Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm) making their debut as Marvel’s First Family. Their appearance generated major buzz as they posed together on the blue carpet, signaling a confident new direction for the franchise.

Joining the main cast on the blue carpet were fellow cast members Sarah Niles, Julia Garner, Natasha Lyonne, Paul Walter Hauser, and Ralph Ineson. Other celebrity attendees included Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Arian Moayed (Succession), Niousha Noor (The Persian Version), and Deadpool & Wolverine’s Dafne Keen and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. In a nostalgic twist, former Fantastic Four stars Doug Jones, Ioan Gruffudd, and Rebecca Staab also made appearances, showing support for the franchise’s new era.
Fans were treated to Marvel-level spectacle, including the arrival of the Fantasticar on-site and cosplayers dressed as the iconic foursome. Above the venue, skywriters etched the classic “4” logo into the sky, making for a truly cinematic moment.
Fantastic Four: First Steps, The First Reviews Are In
Directed by Matt Shakman (WandaVision), First Steps offers a fresh take on the legendary team, placing them in a stylized alternate 1960s universe. Featuring a brand-new Fantastic Four cast, the film officially hits theaters on July 25, 2025, kicking off Phase Six of the MCU.
Early reviews have been glowing, with critics calling it “the best Marvel Studios film ever released,” praising its “immaculate” visual effects and “pitch-perfect” writing.
Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, speaking at the event, emphasized the importance of reintroducing the Fantastic Four into the MCU: “They’ve always been Marvel’s First Family. They were A-listers in the comics and they deserve to be A-listers on screen.” He also promised that this reboot is a “no-homework-required” entry point for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.
