Sixteen Alabama players named to Preseason Media Days All-SEC Team
Sixteen Alabama players earned spots on the Preseason All-SEC Team, the league office announced on Friday morning, and that included five players receiving first-team recognition.
Offensive lineman Tyler Booker, linebacker Deontae Lawson, defensive back Malachi Moore, punter James Burnip and long snapper Kneeland Hibbett landed on the first team.
Alabama saw four players earn second-team honors, including offensive linemen Kadyn Proctor and Parker Brailsford, defensive lineman Tim Smith and placekicker Graham Nicholson. A transfer from Miami of Ohio, Nicholson is the reigning Lou Groza Award winner.
Seven Crimson Tide players received third-team nods from the reporters at Media Days. Those included quarterback Jalen Milroe, running back Justice Haynes, offensive lineman Jaeden Roberts, defensive lineman Tim Keenan, linebacker Jihaad Campbell and defensive backs Domani Jackson and Keon Sabb. Four Alabama transfers made the team.
