Noah and Rhain Brown of Alaskan Bush People fame recently announced they were separating on social media. Since then, many fans who have been following the couple have wondered if there is more to the story. Some have even wondered if the story is even true.
Noah & Rhain Shared They Were Taking A ‘Break’ On Social Media
On the original series, Noah was the youngest son of the Brown family. He and his wife, Rhain, married in 2018. As previously reported, Noah recently shared on social media, however, that he and Rhain were separating.
In a TikTok video, “We just wanted you to hear this from us, instead of from somewhere else. Rhain and I have decided it is in our best interests to separate.”

“We are going to take a break for a while. We are no longer together. I was asked to move out a bit ago, and I am now living in our guest cabin.”
In addition, Noah confirmed his still had custody of his sons, Eli and Adam, on the weekends. He also claimed he and Rhain were planning on seeing a counselor.
However, on Reddit, some fans are starting to wonder how true the story really is. As one fan shared in a post, “Funny how Noah is on TikTok all sad about this separation acting like he’s been banished from home & kids but on Instagram him and Rhain are hanging out eating chocolate. This FAKE separation was to gain followers because Bear passed him in follow count.”
In another post, a fan shared mixed feelings. While doubting the video was fake, the fan wondered if sharing such a video was a good idea. As they noted, “So do you guys think this is all for likes and views?”
Some Alaskan Bush People Fans Had Doubts, Others Felt Things Were Going On For A While
“I doubt it. Their (Noah and Rhain) video seemed genuine. However, the fact that they both decided it was a good idea to post about it apparently within just hours of making the decision seems pretty naive to me.”
“I get the feeling they put so much of their lives and children on social media to get the financial gains from it, but at the same time, it just makes them both look foolish and attention seeking. Whatever fantasy world they’re all living in doesn’t really seem to be working out for them in the long run.
Taking to the comments, other fans shared similar sentiments. Some thought this was something going on for a while. Others shared some doubts. These comments included:
“I think the separation has actually been in place for a while. He’s been living in the guest cabin for at least a couple months. He’s been making weird posts like the one titled something like ‘Life with Rhain vs Life Without Rhain’ and another about them ‘being in a partnership/we’re in this together’ during that time.”
“They have no actual discernible life skills so the only thing they can do is try to make money on TikTok and Winn contests like bear dressing up.”
“The tiktok of the two of them sitting together talking about their separation was so uncomfortable to watch.”
“Noah seems genuinely upset, and you can tell that Rhain is just done. It’s sad. She’s made little comments about Noah not taking her to Alaska and having to ask him to help out at home. Which is ridiculous imo.”
