Longlegs Trailer Shows Intense Search for Serial Killer in Neon Horror Movie

Neon has released a new Longlegs trailer, offering up some more information about the upcoming mysterious horror movie starring Maika Monroe.
The new trailer doesn’t reveal too much about the story, but does showcase more of Monroe’s character, FBI agent Lee Harker, as she investigates a serial killer (played by Nicolas Cage). The trailer also teases a potential connection between Harker and the killer and continues to keep Cage’s presence in the film a mystery.

What do we know about Longlegs?
So far, not much is known about the mysterious horror film outside of the fact that Nicolas Cage will star in the project as a serial killer, with Maika Monroe starring alongside him as an FBI agent tasked with tracking him down. Alicia Witt and Blair Underwood will also star in the film in as-of-yet-unknown roles.
Throughout the past two months, Neon has been slowly releasing cryptic teasers for the project, including one just two weeks ago that showed off the most footage we’ve seen of the movie yet. The film is directed by Osgood Perkins (The Blackcoat’s Daughter, I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House) and is set for a 2024 release.
“FBI Agent Lee Harker is assigned to an unsolved serial killer case that takes unexpected turns, revealing evidence of the occult. Harker discovers a personal connection to the killer and must stop him before he strikes again,” reads the film’s official synopsis.
