Battery Arrest At Hinsdale Nursing Home: Cops

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:BatteryA 48-year-old Melrose Park woman was arrested about 12:30 p.m. Feb. 26 on a battery charge. The woman made contact of an "insulting or provoking nature" with a victim at The Pearl of Hinsdale nursing home, police said. The woman was released and given a date to appear in court. BurglaryA house in the 400 block of West Ninth Street was burglarized at some point in the week before Sunday. The suspect forced entry through the front door and rummaged through the house. The resident was not home during the burglary's timeframe. Dump truck theftA dump truck was stolen about 3 a.m. Monday at a construction site in the 600 block of North Vine Street. The theft was caught on surveillance video. DamageA car's window was smashed between 1 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. Feb. 27 in the 400 block of South Bodin Street. The car was parked in the street.
