One Piece: Luffy and His Straw Hat Crew Aren’t Actually in Elbaf That Makes Complete Sense With Wild Theory

Spoiler Alert !!!One Piece chapter 1127
The recent One Piece chapters have officially marked the beginning of the Elbaf arc, which has been awaited by fans for the longest time. It was first talked about during the Little Garden Arc, and it instantly became a desired destination for both Luffy and Usopp. And now, the Straw Hat Pirates have finally managed to reach the mysterious place.

However, there is a good chance that the crew might have not reached Elbaf at all. Elbaf is one of the most important places in One Piece’s history. It holds the answers to all the major mysteries in the narrative that have been foreshadowed by Eiichiro Oda since the beginning. Thus, there is no way that Oda makes it so easy for the Straw Hat Pirates to reach their desired destination.
According to a theory, the crew might not have made it to Elbaf, but they are in the same vicinity. And there are some decent proofs that not only establish the bizarre theory, but also talk about the mystery of the island where Elbaf is located.
One Piece Theory Claims That The Straw Hat Pirates Have Not Reached Elbaf
When the Egghead Island arc ended, One Piece fans were excited that the Straw Hat crew was joining the giants on their journey to Elbaf. However, the first five members of the crew, Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp, mysteriously vanished from the giant’s ship and woke up in a place made of Lego.

According to a One Piece theory posted by u/Funny0000007 on Reddit, the mysterious place where the Straw Hats landed is not actually Elbaf. It is one of the other locations of Warland, the region where Elbaf and many other similar islands are located. This is confirmed by the fact that the name of the chapter that marks the beginning of the arc is called “Adventure in the Land of Mystery” and not Adventures in Elbaf.

The theory also states that Warland probably has nine kingdoms, including Elbaf, just like the World Tree in Norse mythology. The World Tree is referenced through Yggdrasil, which is located in the center of Elbaf and is deemed to be the base of Warland.
Yggdrasil Might Hold Other Islands
While the theory does not point out the exact location of the Straw Hat Pirates, it does emphasize the importance of Yggdrasil in Elbaf and specifically in Warland. Whenever Elbaf is mentioned or depicted in One Piece, it is portrayed as the coast of the island, and Yggdrasil is always shown as a giant tree that tears through the sky.

However, the place where Luffy and his crew have landed feels more close to the clouds, and even Yggdrasil looks smaller in nature. Also, the castle in which they are currently in feels more human-like, except for the creatures in it. Therefore, there is a good chance that Yggdrasil holds other islands or land masses that are divided and placed all over the mysterious tree.

This assumption also gives insight into the One Piece world being flooded plotline, which was recently discovered by the crew on Egghead. There is a big possibility that just like Wano, Warland has also been distributed and placed on different levels on Yggdrasil to save the country from the upcoming floods in the One Piece world.
