Moreover, according to Helmut Marko, the “max-factor” has kept Red Bull going. He believes that the comprehensive upgrade package will work its magic at the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix. At the same, Marko cannot keep away his concerns regarding other teams catching up with Red Bull. Especially McLaren, with their young drivers has been doing exceptional tasks lately.

Meanwhile, McLaren is leading the 81-year-old’s list. “The fastest package, but they didn’t make it over the finish line because of driving and strategy errors,” says Dr. Marko. He ponders that Mercedes showed more than just a flicker in the last two races, and Ferrari is getting stronger again. People joked after Monaco that they jumped into the harbor after their victory but never resurfaced. “So we have four teams on equal terms,” concluded the advisor.
