Barron Trump Joins NYU: List Of Celebs Who Attended The University
New York University (NYU) garnered international attention this week with the arrival of Barron Trump, the youngest child of former President Donald Trump and former First Lady Melania Trump. On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, Trump started his first autumn semester at NYU's Stern School of Business. Barron Trump, 18, was spotted entering the Manhattan campus of NYU while flanked by Secret Service officials. According to the New York Post, he wore a white polo shirt and carried a black bag. Barron Trump made the decision to go at NYU after graduating from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida, in May 2024. Ever since some indications surfaced earlier in the summer, the college decision has been keenly monitored. At a July 9 rally held at the Trump family's golf resort in Doral, Florida, Donald Trump announced that his son had been admitted to the institution of his choice. Later, the New York Post reported on August 20 that Barron would be attending college in New York; but, the name of the college was not made public until just now.Barron Trump chose not to follow the family's long-standing custom of enrolling in Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., or the University of Pennsylvania. There is, nonetheless, a noteworthy familial tie to NYU. The brother-in-law of Barron Trump, Jared Kushner, graduated from NYU Stern with a degree in business and law after earning his undergraduate degree from Harvard.NYU Stern, a renowned business school, is located in Lower Manhattan, close to Wall Street.
