After Scottie Scheffler Arrest Commotion, PGA Championship Able to Save Its Image With a Terrific Feat

The PGA of America sure knows how to maintain its status. Remember how PGA Tour Pro, and the world apex golfer, Scottie Scheffler was arrested before round 2 of the 2024 PGA Championship because he was charged with a felony due to a second-degree assault of a police officer, third-degree criminal mischief, and reckless driving? Now those charges are dropped, and Scheffler’s image is clear. Now its PGA Championship’s turn to clean itself up nicely, and it is doing it pretty decently.
In a recent X post by Sports Business Journal’s Assistant Managing Editor Josh Carpenter, the fans got to know something absolutely thrilling. The PGA of America has announced that weekly tickets for the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow have sold out. However, there is still a limited inventory of daily tickets available for purchase. The post’s caption read, “The PGA of America says weekly tickets for the PGA Championship next year at Quail Hollow have sold out.”
