Popular Concert Series Starts Up Tuesday In West Hartford
Town of West HartfordWEST HARTFORD, CT — Those looking for a quiet way to enjoy a summer evening with good music have the perfect chance to relax starting Tuesday at the Elmwood Senior/Community Center.The town's annual Senior Centers’ Gazebo Concert Series debuts Tuesday, June 25, at 6 p.m. with the American Legion Post 89 band performing patriotic, Big Band, and contemporary music.It will take place at the Elmwood Senior/Community Center, which is located at 1106 New Britain Ave.Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets, a picnic supper, or snacks to this all-ages concert at the gazebo, which is located on the green at the lower parking lot of the Elmwood Community/Senior Center. Showgoers can access the facility via Burgoyne Street.All shows are free and held at 6 p.m., rain or shine. The rain location is in Ernest O.
