Happily married to the pretty blond for nearly 60 years, Carl Thomas Dean eschewed the media spotlight for decades. He died Monday, March 3, at age 82.
Mrs. Dean, who met her future husband on the day she moved to Music City after her 1964 high school graduation, is better known as country music superstar Dolly Parton. Parton announced her husband’s passing on social media.
