Four major Seattle Seahawks stars wake up unemployed in $28 million decision in brutal NFL free agency cuts
THE Seattle Seahawks have made some huge moves to free up cap space ahead of free agency.
Four players were let go by the franchise this week in a big shake-up.

The Seahawks released two defensive tackles in Roy Robertson-Harris and Dre’Mont Jones.
Safety Rayshawn Jenkins was also let go by the team.
And the fourth member released was offensive tackle George Fant.
Seattle will save around $28 million in cap space thanks to the moves.
Robertson-Harris, 31, only played season for the Seahawks having joined from the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2024.
Jenkins, 31, was also only with the Seahawks for one year having moved from the same team.
Jones, 28, had two years in Seattle after moving from the Denver Broncos.
Fant, 32, was in his second spell with the Seahawks.
He went undrafted in 2016 and was picked up by Seattle
Fant spent his first four years with the team before moving to the New York Jets in 2020.
He left New York in 2022 to join the Houston Texans for the 2023 season.
And Fant had a short second spell with the Seahawks in 2024.
Seattle finished with a 10-7 record and second in the NFC West division.
They had the same record as the Los Angeles Rams but lost the tiebreaker.
And the Seahawks missed out on the postseason altogether, coming in as the eighth best team.
The team are also making some big moves on offence.
Veteran wide receiver Tyler Lockett has been linked with an exit.
The 32-year-old has been with the Seahawks ever since they drafted him in 2015.
DK Metcalf has also been linked with a move away, possibly to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Seahawks have the No. 18 overall pick in next month’s NFL Draft.
