The Emmy winner popped up unexpectedly amid Colin Jost and Michael Che's routine banter on the weekly series. In a segment poking fun at those who have succumbed to the addiction of "excessive press" appearances, Seinfeld ribbed on previous guest host Ryan Gosling and warned him not to take on too many scheduled interview opportunities. Also making a cameo was fellow pop star and friend Troye Sivan, who introduced Lipa's first performance, "Illusion."The 70-year-old appeared on SNL timed to the release of his new Netflix movie Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story, a '60s-set dramedy about the not-quite-true story behind the creation of the Pop Tart, which he directed and stars in. He also recently took to the stage at Netflix is a Joke Festival, alongside comedians like Nate Bargatze and Sebastian Maniscalco.
