Walk-In Stabbing Victim Dies At St. Raphael’s Hospital: Police
Reporting by Ellyn Santiago, Patch Editor NEW HAVEN, CT — A walk-in stabbing victim at Yale New Haven Hospital's St. Raphael campus, 1450 Chapel St., has died as a result of injuries sustained, New Haven police spokesperson officer Christian Bruckhart confirmed for Patch shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday. On X shortly after, police wrote: "Regarding the walk-in stabbing this afternoon at St. Raphael’s hospital, the victim unfortunately succumbed to his injuries and this is now a homicide investigation."The victim was driven up to the main entrance of the hospital in a private car, not to the emergency department entrance on Orchard Street.
