3-2-1: How many commits will Kansas State get in June?
It is time for the Kansas State edition of the 3-2-1 feature.
THREE THINGS WE LEARNED ABOUT KANSAS STATE
1. Cure: We have already talked about five-star tight end Linkon Cure at length at this point. He announced a top four that consists of Kansas State, Kansas, Texas A&M and Oregon. All four will receive official visits in June. 2. Game times: K-State will play Arizona in Week 3 on Friday on FOX. That was already announced. It sounds like we’ll learn more about times of the other non-conference contests this week. I wouldn’t rule out any other game times being released, but it isn’t likely. 3. Withdrawals: Three targets remain on the Kansas State board, plus Arthur Kaluma. They all withdrew from the NBA Draft. There will be another year of college ball for Ugonna Onyenso, Coleman Hawkins and Jamir Watkins. The accelerator will be pressed down on those recruitments with the pro process in the rear-view mirror. It wasn’t before because they have to convince NBA teams they’re serious about remaining in the draft pool. I won’t be stunned if we hear more about other options, too.
NEWS: Ugonna Onenyso will withdraw from the 2024 NBA Draft, his agent Daniel Hazan told ESPN. TWO QUESTIONS
1. Fayetteville: Pete Hughes and company begin regional baseball action on Friday in Fayetteville. Arkansas will be the overwhelming favorite to advance to the super regional, but K-State opens up with Louisiana Tech. Can they scratch away a win? Do they surprise everyone and get hot?2. Hoops finish: Now that Onyenso, Hawkins, Watkins and Kaluma will focus more on their college recruitments, we should learn more about where Kansas State stands for them. Will the Wildcats be a considerable threat? I believe so with at least Onyenso but questions remain on the others.

ONE K-STATE PREDICTION
1. 12: June is only a couple days away. And K-State will enter the month with just three high school football commits. However, a ton of visitors are lined up already and there will be camps where they spot new targets and close on them quickly as well. That happens every year, which is why I believe the Wildcats will finish June with at least 12 commits.
