It was a a hot one today, boy....and windy! Looks like a little more of the same tomorrow so the Canyon Kick Off has been canceled for this weekend. Hopefully Mother Nature gets straight for next week's OC Tuna Tournament!
The crew of the Reel Chaos with Captain Anthony Matarese, Jr. had a good trip to the deep today with this very nice 200 pound bigeye landing on the deck next to mate Jon Henry.
Captain Andrew Dotterweich and his crew on board Fish On had a crazy good day of trolling the Baltimore Canyon today. Owner Todd Willard and crew combined for five white marlin releases and a pile of mahi.
Chase Neumayer caught his 17 3/4” flounder on live minnow at Harbor Island at his “Hole 280!” Dad, Dave, caught his 21 1/2” flounder on live minnow along the rocks at Martha’s Landing. Both caught the start of the outgoing tide.
Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing had a good day today with big southern rays and cow nosed for his shooters.
