WEDNESDAY MORNING
A little bit of a cooler start early Wednesday morning as you first step out the door will lead way to a quick warmup with plentiful sunshine as we head towards noontime. Dewpoints will stay comfortable as well.
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
A couple of minor changes Wednesday afternoon with some increased cloud coverage at times, as well as a slight chance for an isolated shower or two as we head towards the late afternoon and evening hours. Highs will be seasonable in the low to mid-80s inland and upper 70s at the coast.
Any showers that come through are expected to be localized and brief.
LOOKING AHEAD
The better chance for afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms will be on Thursday. Downpours, lightning and some gusty winds are all possible...maybe some small hail as well.
Highs Thursday will be around 80, and it will be a bit more humid (nothing oppressive).
TROPICS
Tropical Storm Ernesto will impact Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands into Wednesday with some heavy rainfall and gusty winds.
Then, Ernesto turns northward toward Bermuda by the weekend while it strengthens into a hurricane. Although we're not expecting any direct impacts here as the storm is expected to track far to our east, there is a chance we'll see strong rip currents and rough surf over the weekend.
