Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk on Thursday fired back at author Stephen King's criticism of his space company. Musk's response featured an AI-generated image depicting King with an eggplant in his mouth, surrounded by stacks of cash and a clown in the background. The humorous image took aim at the "King of Horror" following his remarks.King is yet to respond to Musk's AI image. Earlier in the day, the popular author tweeted about SpaceX launches being on hold after a booster failed an attempt to land back on Earth during a routine Starlink mission on Wednesday. The rocket's first stage booster returned to Earth and attempted to land on a sea-faring barge, but toppled into the ocean after a fiery touchdown. SpaceX was live streaming the launch."The incident involved the failure of the Falcon 9 booster rocket while landing on a droneship at sea. No public injuries or public property damage have been reported. The FAA is requiring an investigation," an FAA spokesperson said.
