As longtime The Voice fans will remember, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton were part of the original batch of coaches for the reality singing competition. Fans loved their back-and-forth banter, and the pair of them helped make the show into what it is today.
While Blake Shelton officially hung it up as a coach, Adam made a return to the chair, and it was something that The Voice fans were hyped about from the moment that his return was announced. As it turns out, Adam and Blake have a very interesting relationship off-camera as well.

Adam Opens Up About Strange Blake Shelton Story
Based on recent updates making the rounds from Adam Levine, he recently opened up about a strange gift that Blake Shelton gave him. It turns out, Adam was a recent guest on Hot Ones, and he had a unique Blake Shelton story to tell while he was there.
Adam said of Blake, “He kind of played a prank on me with a pig once. My now-wife, then-brand-new girlfriend, said she really wanted a teacup pig.”
A teacup pig is a miniature pig. These pigs were originally bred in Vietnam, and are much smaller in size and weight than regular pigs. According to Levine, he went on to say, “And I didn’t know what that was… and so I asked Blake, ‘What’s a teacup pig?’ and he’s like, ‘I’ll get you teacup pig, give me five grand.'”

The Voice: Did Blake Shelton Come Through On Adam Levine’s Request?
As longtime The Voice fans know, as an Oklahoma native with his own ranch, Blake Shelton knows a thing or two about farming and farm animals. Based on what Adam had to say, it seems Blake came through on Adam’s request for a teacup pig as well, or did he?
Adam went on to say that owning a teacup pig is not all it’s cracked up to be. He went on to add, “Please don’t get a pig. They scream and squeal if you don’t pay attention to them, they scream and squeal if you do. It probably lasted three weeks and then we were like, ‘We can’t live with this pig anymore,’ so we had to give it to a little girl on a farm.”

Making matters worse, Adam asked the new owners for pic updates later on, and it turns out that the pig in question grew to several hundred pounds in size. So, it looks like the pig in question was not a teacup pig after all.
Adam said, “I’m like, ‘Blake, bro $5,000 for a pig that wasn’t a teacup pig?” While Adam may be out $5k and a pig, he certainly has a good story to tell.
