Michael Blackshire/GettyA doctor who helped supply Matthew Perry with the ketamine which killed him facing 10 years in prison after formally pleading guilty to drug-dealing.The dose disgraced San Diego physician Mark Chavez provided caused the Friends star to die in the hot tub at his Pacific Palisades, California, home of acute ketamine poisoning and drowning in October 2023.Chavez admitted to submitting a fraudulent prescription to obtain ketamine for Perry, and pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine—a charge for which he could serve up to ten years. Chavez was charged along with urgent care doctor Salvador Plasencia, a dealer named Erik Fleming, Perry’s live-in assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, and “ketamine queen” Jasveen Sangha.Read more at The Daily Beast.
