Quinoa Reopening At The Latin Pot In Dublin Borough
DUBLIN BOROUGH, PA — If you enjoy Peruvian and Mexican dishes and miss the food at Quinoa in downtown Doylestown, there's good news to report.Starting on Friday, March 7, the Egoavil and Anguiano families will begin serving Quinoa's beloved Mexican and Peruvian favorites on the weekends at the Latin Pot located inside the Plaza at the Dublin Town Center (near the driver’s license center) at 161 North Main Street.“Think of it as a weekend pop up,” said Jack Egoavil, who announced the news on the restaurant’s social media pages.To accommodate more patrons, the owners have expanded seating capacity at the Latin Pot, making room for 35 guests in its dining area, which is decorated with brightly colored concert posters and shelves displaying Latin American figurines.“We are super excited to be able to bring Quinoa here, to have a place where we can offer our Quinoa dishes. Our chef is here. Our food is here. The same people are here," said Jack. "We’re just changing locations. (Jeff Werner/Patch)Quinoa closed its doors in January at 54 East State Street after more than a decade in business, leaving its customers without their favorite dishes while the owners search for a new location.In the meantime, the popular restaurant will be sharing a space with the Latin Pot. Quinoa hours at the Latin Pot will be from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 7 p.m.Jack, who also operates El Tule in Lambertville, said they will be serving all of Quinoa’s popular dishes including Red Snapper and Crab Meat Tacu, Lamb Stew, Ceviches, Piqueo del Mar, Tacos de Birria, Tacos Mexicanos, Skirt Steak Tacu Tacu and Arroz con Mariscos.In addition, customers can select from Latin Pot’s favorites including arepas, tacos, empanadas, fajita and burrito bowls.The Latin Pot will continue to operate, serving Mexican and South American “street food” from Tuesday to Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.On the weekends, customers can choose from the best of both worlds - the Quinoa and the Latin Pot menus.Reservations and orders can be placed by using the Quinoa website or calling 215-348-2826or 267-871-5422.Piqueo del Mar.
