be quiet! cuts prices for its excellent Platinum-rated PSUs and the Dark Rock Pro 5
We've reviewed many be quiet! products over the years, often coming away very impressed. More recently, the company launched a pair of excellent ATX 3.0 power supplies with the Straight Power 12 1200W and 1500W, as well as its best air-cooler yet with the Dark Rock Pro 5. Now, all three are getting a permanent price cut.
As part of be quiet's POWER UP! campaign, the prices of be quiet's most expensive power supplies have dropped significantly, particularly for the 1500W model. The Straight Power 12 1500W launched at £349.99, but now, it has dropped by over £100, down to £239.99. If 1500W is a bit too much for your needs, the Straight Power 12 1200W matches on quality, priced at £219.99. Both Straight Power 12 PSUs offer 80Plus Platinum certification, ranking them amongst the most efficient on the market. At these new prices, they are also highly competitive against other Platinum-rated PSUs.
The Dark Rock Pro 5 is the last product on the list to get a decent price cut. Now, be quiet's best air-cooler can be had for £84.99, down from its old price of £99.99. The cooler offers a dual-tower heatsink with ultra-quiet but powerful fans to keep noise output low and temperatures well in check, even for high-end CPUs.
