Man wanted after alleged tire slashing spree in Fall River
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — Fall River police are searching for a suspect after dozens of residents reported Wednesday morning that their tires had been slashed overnight.

Police said they first responded around 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday to a report of tire slashing near Mulberry and Division Streets. Shortly after that, they said, they were alerted to another incident at Ridge and Cottage Streets.
According to police, Liduino Tavares, 40, is suspected of slashing the tires of 56 cars overnight.
Police issued a warrant for his arrest on 62 counts of malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
