Delta Nintendo emulator faces legal threats from unlikely source

Recently, the Delta emulator for iOS has made headlines, after returning to the App Store immediately upon Apple changing its rules to allow emulators once again. Delta has remained one of the most downloaded apps on iPhone since coming to the App Store, but the developers have now landed in legal trouble, but not with who you would expect.
As Delta is an emulator for Nintendo consoles, allowing iPhone and iPad users to run ROMs of popular classic games designed for the NES, SNES, N64, GameBoy, GameBoy Advanced and Nintendo DS systems, you may expect Nintendo to be behind Delta's legal issues. After all, Nintendo did just recently shut down Yuzu, a popular emulator for Nintendo Switch games. However, it turns out Delta has found itself in trouble with Adobe instead.
In the most recent patch notes for the app, Delta's developers revealed that “Adobe threatened legal action” due to the app's icon, which has a triangle shape very similar to the stylised ‘A' in the Adobe logo. As a result, the triangle has now been broken up and rearranged, so if your Delta app icon looks a little odd all of a sudden, that will be why.
The new logo is just a placeholder for now to avoid any legal battles with Adobe, so a replacement should arrive soon. Nintendo has yet to comment on the recent return of console emulators to the App Store. Recently, a PS1 emulator also landed on the App Store, so Sony may have some issues with Apple's new policy change soon too.
