When it comes to Emmys, the hit CBS sitcom took home 9 wins out of its 46 Primetime Emmy nominations—an achievement neither of those acclaimed dramas can claim.
Despite The Wire being hailed as one of the greatest TV shows ever made, it was only nominated for two Emmys and walked away empty-handed. Even Better Call Saul, a spin-off to the award-magnet Breaking Bad, couldn’t break the curse—53 nominations and still no wins.
