4 Women Kidnapped, Held In Shipping Container: PA State Police
MONROE COUNTY, PA — Two men are facing charges after authorities said they kidnapped four women and held them hostage in a shipping container, according to Pennsylvania State Police and reports. The pair is also accused of raping two of the women.Davaun Carlon Jackson, 29, and Isaiah Rogers-Keeney, 19, were arrested this week following the incident that started in Wilkes-Barre and ended in Monroe County, state police said.According to court records, both are facing nearly 30 charges each including kidnapping, making terroristic threats, rape, sexual assault, and false imprisonment. The pair kidnapped three women and a teenage girl after the women witnessed a shooting in Wilkes-Barre on Monday, Pennsylvania State Police told WFMZ-TV. The women were forced into a Ford SUV and driven to Smithfield Township in Monroe County, where the suspects tied up the victims and held them in shipping containers, police said. “There was a car chase, there were kidnappings, transportation to places of isolation, threats of murder, of mayhem and sexual assaults,” Monroe County District Attorney Michael Mancuso told WFMZ. “There was one minor there. The minor was 17 years old. The other ones were, the age range was I believe 18 to 21.”According to an Action News report and police, Jackson had a chainsaw, sledgehammer, and axe and threatened the women with the weapons. He also allegedly raped two of the women and told them if they didn't have sex with him, he would cut off one of their body parts, according to police and a WNEP-TV report.On Tuesday, reports said Jackson and Rogers-Keeney took the women to another property owned by Jackson in Pen Argyl. Once there, one of the victims was given her cell phone, which she used to call her mother.After the mother called police, state troopers tracked the suspects to a Walmart in Mount Pocono, where they were arrested, police confirmed. Jackson and Rogers-Keeney were arraigned Wednesday morning and denied bail, according to court records.
